Anca Mihalache is a highly experienced aviation professional with more than 13 years of experience trading commercial aircraft and engines – with a specific focus on the A320 and B737 fleets and the related CFM56 and V2500 engines.
As Managing Director of AERO CARE, the respected European mature aircraft asset solutions provider, Anca is spearheading the Company’s new US status and implementing AERO CARE’s ambitious growth strategies as part of Alchemy Aero Corporation, the specialist aviation investment platform.
Most recently, Anca was VP Engine Trading & Leasing at APOC Aviation, where she was responsible for establishing and building APOC’s engine division - leading the trading & leasing strategy and driving the part-out business. Whilst at APOC, Anca executed more than 20 engine trades and 10 engine teardowns, all of which were profitable and exited within the projected timeframe.
Prior to APOC, Anca was Head of Trading & Leasing at Vallair, managing the Purchasing & Sales teams (purchasing, trading, leasing and part-out of engines and airframes). Anca successfully traded over 35 aircraft and engines and their related parts in the 5 years spent at Vallair. Anca started her aviation career at AERO CARE where she was Purchasing Manager dealing with airframe parts.
Anca holds a BSc in Economics.
