Jeff Lewis has dedicated his entire life and career to the aviation industry, influenced by his family's deep involvement in aviation. Jeff's extensive experience in aviation is shaped by his dual careers in aviation finance and leasing, as well as flight operations.
In 2024, Jeff launched and was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Hanwha Aviation, a commercial aero-engine leasing business backed by the Hanwha Group of Korea. The vertically integrated leasing platform is based in Singapore, with offices in Seoul, Dublin, and Boca Raton, Florida.
Prior, Jeff's professional journey led him to become an original senior executive and the Head of Aircraft Leasing for Fortress Investment Group and FTAI Aviation from 2014 to 2022. Before his tenure at Fortress, Jeff enjoyed a 12-year career with Air Canada, where he served as a Captain, Company Check Pilot, and Engineering Project Pilot. Simultaneously, Jeff also worked with Avtrade Ltd and Universal Asset Management, focusing on aftermarket support and end-of-life solutions in the commercial aviation sector.
Jeff is an accomplished pilot, with over 17,000 hours of flying in commercial, military, and general aviation aircraft.
