Vincent Metz joined SR Technics in December 2023 as Vice President of Business Development Europe, based in Zürich, Switzerland. He is leading the European team in building the SR Technics market position in Europe.
Vincent brings over two decades of experience in the aviation industry, with a focus on MRO services. The majority of his time he spent at Air France – KLM, serving in many different senior management positions in the MRO business. His last role was as a member of the AFKL E&M executive committee as VP of Strategy, Marketing, & Communication. Before that, he held several operational and commercial functions, including Director of Component Repair within KLM and Product Sales Director for Air France Industries. In addition to his experience in MRO, he also worked in the AFKL passenger commercial business as VP Commercial and as Pricing & Revenue Management Director.
After leaving AFKL in 2020, he focussed on building sustainable aviation solutions for the startup Smart Airport Systems before founding his own consultancy firm, Strategy2Fly. Alongside several strategic missions in the aviation sector, he worked as interim CTO in the train sector with Ermewa SA, a train wagon leasing company.
Vincent holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
