Profile

Arjan de Jong (1968) graduated with a BEng in Aeronautical Engineering from Haarlem Polytechnic and his MSc in Aviation Management from the University of Southampton. Arjan received his PhD in Aerospace Engineering & Management from the Technical University Delft. He worked for the Schreiner Aviation Group in the Netherlands and the CHC Helicopter Corporation in Vancouver, BC, Canada. He held various operational and strategic positions in maintenance, engineering, continuing airworthiness management, asset management and project management. He works at the Royal Netherlands Aerospace Centre (NLR) since 2009, most recently as Principal, Maintenance and Engineering. His team provides maintenance management services and develops innovative maintenance technologies.
