Profile

Dr. Helena Vogel serves as Director of Sales Europe at MTU Maintenance. In this function, she is responsible for creating sales opportunities and for MTU’s business development within Northern Europe and with the lessor community.

Helena joined MTU in 2013 and has 10 years of experience in the aircraft engine industry. She began her aviation career at Rolls-Royce, followed by several roles across engine design, customer support and production with MTU Aero Engines and MTU Maintenance.

Helena holds a PhD, a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart. Her professional and academic experiences include stints in the United States, Switzerland, China and Germany, where she is currently based.
