A case study presentation using true values and statistics, looking into the KPI scheme developed by Lufthansa and Airbus to reflect operations, maintenance, and engine maturity status. The partnership developed a new set of KPIs based on operational parameters and engine build status  to create transparency on early trend recognition, target-oriented counter-measure implementation and life cycle tracking.  This presentation will assess the challenges and lessons learned so far.
