In this role, Horacio leads the team that manages asset acquisition, repair and distribution of used serviceable material across GE Aviation’s engine aftermarket platforms as well as external MRO network, airlines and the broker community.
Horacio joined GE in 2006 in the engineering organization, moving to field services where he worked directly with customers and executed installations. After this experience, he expanded his capabilities in commercial operations, risk management & contract negotiation, while establishing commercial processes in new organizations. He then transitioned into Sales for GE’s Aeroderivative products in the Latin America region.
Prior to his current role at GEAM, Horacio led GE Aviation’s Airfoil component repair facility in McAllen, TX. In this role, he led the capacity growth of the operation and developed a Lean culture with strong operational rigor.
Horacio is a native of Lima, Peru, and a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Engineering from Georgia Tech.
